For Photographers
Hey there! I'm Brittney, and I'm here to be your photography bestie, teaching you everything I know when it comes to photography and running a successful business.
I'm a self-taught photographer who started shooting in 2009. I've always found that a hands-on, straight-to-the-point approach works best for learning. This is precisely how I plan to operate my mentorships! I have a background in sales, so all aspects of my mentorship options will have a strong emphasis on teaching you how to be able to sell your services.
I've recently taken the leap into full-time photography, consistently booking out sessions, and I'm excited to share my secrets with you.

Atmosphere Aerosol
This stuff is like pure gold when it comes to crafting dreamy backlit scenes that could use a little touch of whimsical haze. Think of it as a nifty fog machine condensed into a portable can, allowing me to sprinkle enchantment wherever I go.
Godox RGB Mini Creative Light M1
This compact, portable light may be small in size, but let me tell you, it shines BRIGHT! Don't underestimate its power! With adjustable brightness settings, this little gem offers a plethora of options. It's not just your ordinary light; it's an FX light that can immerse your creative sessions in a world of endless colors. Whether you prefer a solid hue or a mesmerizing pattern, this light has got you covered. It's perfect for adding that extra touch of direct illumination exactly where you need it. And guess what? This versatile light isn't just limited to photography; it's also a fantastic companion for videography endeavors. So, unleash your creativity and let this incredible light amplify your visual artistry!
The House Of Flynn Evermore Camera Bag
I've had The House Of Flynn's Everest Camera Bag since it was gifted to me on my birthday back in 2016, and I've used it for hundreds of photoshoots since then!! This bag is incredibly sturdy and durable, providing reliable protection for my gear. It comes with multiple removable dividers, allowing me to organize and reorganize my bag efficiently according to my specific needs. Anything from The House Of Flynn is stylish with an everyday look that doesn't scream "camera bag," which gives me peace of mind when I travel alone with it.
Tripod Mount Adapter Phone Holder
A real lifesaver when you're juggling multiple tasks, this nifty gadget is a game-changer for capturing those precious behind-the-scenes (BTS) moments. Although it may not always perfectly match the view through my lens, it becomes an invaluable companion for documenting long sessions. Typically, I record extended videos of my shoots by mounting my phone on the adapter, and later curate the best parts to create engaging BTS content. It's a handy tool that ensures I never miss a beat during my photography adventures!
What do I shoot with?
I have been a Canon girlie from the very beginning of my love for photography!
My first DSLR camera was the Canon Rebel T2i in 2009.
In 2016, I upgraded to the Canon Rebel T6i.
I upgraded from there in 2022, and currently shooting with a Canon EOS 6D.
What are my favorite apps?
For location scouting - AllTrails, Google Earth, Google Maps, Free Roam
For posing and esthetic inspo - Unscripted, Pinterest, TikTok
For Networking - Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok
For Self-Portraits - Canon Connect
For Photo Display and Editing - Lightroom Classic, SCRL, Picsart
What are my Favorite Lenses?
I have compared the Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 to the Canon 24-70mm and have found myself favoring SIGMA - surprised?
I've personally found that it handles better in low-light situations as far as noise, blur, and creaminess.
This is my favorite go-to lens for fast paced situations and capturing the scenery around us, in addition to the subjects.
