The Experience
My goal is to give you a professional, & high-quality experience ( & photos) from planning to delivery.
Clear communication is important to me, and I am here for you from planning your session, to helping you feel comfortable in front of a camera.
If you’re worried about feeling awkward or "not knowing what to do with your hands," don’t be. I’ve spent years mastering the art of guiding movement and finding your best angles. I focus on creating beautiful, effortless portraits so you can just show up and be yourself.
My style is vibrant and true-to-color.
We want your photos to look like you and feel like the moment they were taken.
I also spend a lot of my spare time, scouting for unique and beautiful locations in and around St. George & Southern Utah's surrounding areas. From secret hidden gems outside (and inside) of Zion, Springdale, Hurricane, to a ton of beautiful & remote, desert, or mountainous suggestions.
I DO NOT USE AI IN MY WORKFLOW & it is against my terms and conditions that are agreed to upon booking, to run ANY of my images through AI.
What I Do (and What I Don’t)
I specialize in portraits for individuals, businesses, couples, & families (both small & extended), as well as seniors, small weddings, and elopements.
To make sure I’m delivering the best possible work to my clients, I stay focused on my specific areas of expertise. This means:
- Newborns: I love capturing your newest additions as part of a lifestyle family session, but I do not offer "wrapped" or posed studio-style newborn photography.
- I offer photography for small weddings and elopements; I do not take on large-scale traditional weddings.
- My passion and expertise is purely in still photography—I do not offer professional videography, but I do enjoy taking behind the scenes footage of my sessions to share how I communicate in-person, during a session.
Where I Started
& More About My Story
I grew up in Southern Minnesota., and I’ve been a portrait photographer since 2009. What began in high school, taking senior & family photos for my friends and classmates, slowly transformed my hobby into my full-time career.
I’ve spent the last 17 years growing my passion and education of photography, and I still love taking photos & working with people just as much as I did on day one!
I moved from Minnesota to Southern Utah in 2020 with just my dog and 2 cats, not knowing anyone, but I’ve built a life here that I’m grateful for every day.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I had over 10 years of experience in sales, starting at Victoria’s Secret, then working as a Bridal Consultant, and then later transitioned into the automotive industry, working in sales at car dealerships.
I made the switch to photography full-time, in 2023 & I’m incredibly grateful to do what I love as a career.
Southern Utah is also where I met my incredible husband, Kade. We met in 2021 and got married in May 2025. He has been my biggest support of my dreams and growth in life and he is also business owner himself. We decided to go full-time with our careers in the same year!
Outside of photography, I spend a lot of my time outdoors. I’m usually camping, hiking, kayaking, or going on adventures with my husband and our dog. We try to get as many camping trips with friends in as possible each year. I love staying active and being in nature. I also really enjoy slower moments at home like making coffee, having crafty girls nights, drinking wine, comfy movie nights and recharging in between busy weeks. Every once in a while, I’ll fall into a random sims 4 kick. I’ve been an og sims player since 2003 😅
Well, that's enough about me.. let's get into why you're here!!
If you’re looking for a photographer in Southern Utah, I’d love to be yours.
